Eastern Arc Experimental Social Science Workshop will be ‘hybrid’ this September

The ‘Experimental Social Science Workshop’ is taking place a hybrid form (in-person and online) at University of Kent, onSeptember 9-10, 2021.

The workshop aims to showcase and discuss recent advances made by the three Eastern Arc universities (Kent, UEA and Essex) in the use of experimental and quasi-experimental methods.

We are pleased to announce the keynote speaker isProf Imran Rasul (UCL).

Professor Imran Rasul is a Fellow of the British Academy and this year, he was appointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, for Services to Social Sciences. He is the editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association. His research uses field- and lab-experiments to address issues related to labor, education and development. Eastern arc Faculty and PhD students are invited to submit an abstract for the workshop, and welcome to attend.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:July 16, 2021

Announcements will be made on 23rd July, 2021; the final programme will be available soon after.
