Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain Cultural Attach visit to the University of Kent

4月5日,国际发展惠康ed the Cultural Attaché for the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ms. Lubna Selaibeekh, to the University of Kent.

Ms Selaibeekh came to the Canterbury campus to learn more about our degree programmes, to explore the campus and city, and to engage with our current Bahraini students. Kent currently has 78 registered students from the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the International Development team were delighted to have the opportunity to introduce some of our students to Ms Selaibeekh.

Alongside a tour of the campus and meetings with the Director and Deputy Director for International Development, Ms Selaibeekh attended a lunch with representatives from International Development, Kent Business School and Kent School of Architecture. Current students from the Kingdom of Bahrain were also invited to the lunch, and Ms Selaibeekh had the pleasure of talking with both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Future cooperation between the University of Kent and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain was discussed during the visit, which included the chance for students to participate in numerous opportunities with the Cultural Attaché, such as a visit to Paris in May, and a talent show scheme beginning in the next academic year.
